PlantSTEP, ECOM , NAVSEA, and ESTEP defined ISO New Work Item (NWI) for AP227 Edition 2
・for the representation and exchange of piping configurations and properties specific to support fabrication and inspection of piping assembled in a shop and the installation of the fabrication piping assembled in a shop and the installation of the fabricated piping.
・investigate extending the AP227 support for information about HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning) components and systems and adding refinements to make AP227 more useful to the general building and shipbuilding industries.
ISO TC184/SC4 has approved the AP227 Ed2 NWI
