[1] Research and Study on Laws and Ordinances about Ship Inspection
Recently, the system of ship inspection is becoming internationalized and diversified. In addition, problems concerning the ISO9000 series and the product liability system are emerging. Under such circumstances SQCA conducts research and studies on the contents of concerned laws and ordinances both at home and abroad, cases of their applications.
SQCA collects information and materials on the system of ship inspections for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, organization involved in inspections, organizations of shipbuilders, publications by concerned organizations of various countries. SQCA provides the member companies with such information and materials through SQCA's periodicals (HlNKAN JIHO). As necessary, SQCA makes recommendations or presents reports to the concerned parties, or holds training courses, briefings, various meetings so that these may be well understood by the concerned parties.

THE NIPPON FOUNDATION has a system for advancing low-interest and long-term finances from the proceeds of motorboat races to the capitals necessary for modernization and rationalization of facilities and operating capitals necessary of consolidating management in accordance with the policies of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. SQCA provides the member companies with consulting services and guidance for procedures for application to such finances and issues necessary certificates of membership.
