石田梅岩の生家・石田家は、亀岡市東別院町東掛の静かな山あいにある。梅岩は、貞享2年(1685)9月15日に次男として生まれ、名は勘平といった。一帯は水田で、毎年秋、穂が実る頃墓前祭が執行される。
The Ishida family's house where Ishida Baigan was born, is located in a quiet mountain area in Kameoka. Baigan, the second son, was born on September 15, 1685 and he was named Kanpei.
As the house is surrounded by rice fields, the rice is about ready to be harvested when the yearly memorial service is held in autumn.
