V. SPECIFIC TECHNIQUES OF HIGH TONE VOCALIZATION
There are people who are benefited from their originally high voice and their natural utterance of high tone impresses listeners. However, this is rather exceptional for most of the laryngectomees are low in their tone of voice, and it is often observed that their low voice makes it difficult to be listened to not only in the train but also in spacious places or the places packed with many people.
Because of this, many people lose confidence in their esophageal speech which they acquired with cost and completely shutter themselves from such occasions or if they participate, they refrain from conversation, thinking themselves unqualified.
In order to make the tone of voice higher, I would like to suggest the following three techniques to be adopted in the voice training so as to attain higher tone of voice.
