It is sincerely recommended to precisely recognize the region of vocalization, the second vocal cords, and to utter while pushing the air into the esophagus hard toward the region with the abdominal pressure. The method to inhale air into the esophagus will be explained in the next chapter.
III. INHALATION METHOD
In esophageal speech, voice is produced and spoken out by the air inhaled, apart from the lung breathing, through the mouth, mouth cavity to the esophagus, but not to the stomach, and by exhaling the air again through the mouth while vibrating the gathers located on the narrowed upper esophagus. This method has many advantages compared with the other vocalizing methods, and its practicality has been highly evaluated.
