Try the following combinations with vowels: paa, paw, po, poo, pay, pe, pie, poy, pow and baa, baw, bo, boo, bay, be, bie, boy, bow.

Practice the following pairs of words using, wherever possible, one air charge for each pair: bay - boy, pay - pie, buy - bay and by - pie, bee - pea, Bobby - poppy, Bob - pop, bub - pub, bib - pip.

When, as in Bob and pub, the voiced plosive is in the final position it is apt to lose voice. You must take care to expel vibrations from the esophagus long enough to make an audible /b/.

The plosive consonants /t/ and /d/, /k/ and /g/ too are paired like /p/ and /b/.

In pronouncing /t/ and /d/, the air passage is blocked by raising the soft palate and raising the tongue tip to touch the teeth-ridge: when the tongue is removed from the teeth-ridge, the compressed air suddenly escapes through the mouth, making an explosive sound.
