Chapter I . Jurisdiction
(Proceedings for Change of Jurisdiction)
Article 1 . When a case which is inquired by the competent Local Marine Inquiry Agency is recognized inconveniently, a Commissioner or an Examinee may make a request for a change of jurisdiction to the High Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency by offering presumptive proof thereof.
2. The request of the preceding paragraph shall be rejected after a statement which is made on the merits in the Court.
3. The request mentioned in paragraph 1 shall be submitted in writing to the competent Local Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency.
(Opinion of Local Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency)
Article 2. When the request mentioned in Article 1, paragraph 1 is made, the competent Local Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency shall promptly forward the written request, to the High Marine Accidents Inquiry Agency accompanied with its opinion thereon.
