In the morning of January 10, the southward current became weak and its speed was nearly equal to that before the Kyucho, while the high temperature continued after the Kyucho. The duration of the strong current was about half a day. Both the current and temperature records indicated a south-ward movement of the thermal front at station EN along the coast.
