4. Concluding remarks
We are analyzing the distribution patterns of temperature and salinity values in the seas around Japan in order to classify into several sub-regions according to the distribution patterns, and to set suitable range parameters applicable for each sub-regions. It should be noted that the parameters should be determined in several manners: for example, if the reported value exceeds one parameter value, it would be error. However, another criterion of the parameter is that, if the reported data exceeds it, re-analysis of the observed data is recommended.
