4 Attached as an annex is a copy of the report by the European GNSS Maritime Advisory Forum entitled 'Applications and User Requirements'. In the context of the continuing review of resolution A.860 (20), the report identifies a set of existing and potential maritime applications and, in most cases, develops the associated requirements. Further work is being performed to refine the requirements using the appropriate internationally recognised expertise.
Action requested of the Sub-Committee
5 The Sub-Committee is invited to consider:
.1 the Conclusions and Recommendations of the Report (Section 6); and
.2 the maritime applications and requirements described in the Report and amend resolution A.860 (20) as appropriate, specifically the minimum user requirements for a future GNSS.
