1 At its third session, the Sub-Committee agreed with a proposal by France that a list of IMO documents which are considered essential for MRCCs would be of assistance (...). The Sub-Committee agreed that the circular should be updated annually (...) (COMSAR 3/14 no.9.17).
2 The annexed list is a proposed update of the list, in the French and English versions, based on the existing list (SAR.7/Circ.1): the new documents are underlined; the documents to be deleted have been crossed through. This form of presentation is intended to facilitate the work of the Sub-Committee and not to serve as a model for the list which will be distributed by the Secretariat.

4 The Sub-Committee is invited to check the proposed contents of the list and to adopt it as circular SAR.7/Circ.2.
