English (simultaneous interpretation between English and Japanese will be provided during the Opening Ceremony and the Special Lecture)
Official Invitation
An official invitation will be sent each participant on request.
Participants may use this invitation when making application for visas or travel expenses.
Passports and Visas
All persons entering Japan must have a valid passport. In addition, persons coming from certain countries must have a visa issued by a Japanese consul in their country. Please be aware that in some cases, it takes more than one month to obtain a visa.

Currency Exchange
Foreign currencies can be exchanged at banks in the airport or in down town, and at some hotels.
Banks are open from 9:00 to 15:00, Monday through Friday.
Credit cards
American Express, Master Card, VISA, Diners Club, JCB and some others are widely accepted at hotels, and larger restaurants and shops. (cash is necessary at smaller restaurants and shops)
Climate in Tokyo
Tokyo's average daytime temperature in October is about 17.
Average humidity is 67%. It is recommended that you bring a raincoat and/or umbrella with you.
Business Hours
Almost department stores and retail shops in Tokyo are open from 10:00 to 19:00 daily, including Sundays.
Insurance
Participants are advised to provide their own personal/travel insurance as the Organizing Committee will assume no responsibility on behalf of participants for personal accidents, sickness, theft or property damage.
