Sixth International Symposium On Marine Engineering TOKYO 2000
The Executive Committee are very pleased to make the interim report as under.
First of all, please note that the venues of both Symposium and Exhibition have been Changed from Makuhari Messe (written in Call for Papers) to Nihon Toshi Center Kaikan which is located in the center of Tokyo.
We received 155 offers presenting papers at the conference and will get more 16 papers for four panel discussions. The number of nationality of authors comes up 20 as of 1 January, 2000.
The guidance for Exhibition, which is expected to have maximum 36 booths, is now available. Please request brochures to Secretariat on;

We are now intensively working to issue Second Announcement in late March, in which all necessary information and registration form are included.
The conference fee is as follows(Spouse is free of charge);
Early bird (payment by 31 August): \55,000
Late registration (payment after 1 September): \60,000
Student with proceedings: \30,000
Student without proceedings: \10,000
Conference dinner: \10,000
(Participation to only dinner is acceptable.)
