2) Niigata-MBD Holeby L16/24 type engine
The company has begun to manufacture the latest model of MAN B&W Holeby L16/24 type engines, which have many experiences of highly reliable operation in marine generating use with HFO (heavy fuel oil) all over the world.
The engine can be efficiently operated at 1200rpm on lowgrade fuel up to a viscosity of 700cSt@50℃. The built-in type auxiliary equipment is mounted on the front of the engine, which leads to the pipe-less structure, and the installation on the anti-vibration supports is adopted in the standard way.
Table 2.4.6-2 and Photo 2.4.6-2 indicate the principal particulars of L16/24 series engines and the general view of 6L16/24 engine respectively.
3) ZP-10 and ZP-09 type Z-pellers
Following ZP-21 and ZP31 type Z-Pellers with many experiences, the company has begun to manufacture ZP-10 and ZP-09 type Z-pellers as new ZP series.
In order to apply to the lower output range (550kW-960kW) than that of ZP-21 and ZP-31 type (960kW-1,545kW), these Z-pellers were designed to be compact and light taking account of an onboard arrangement. Table 2.4.6-3 and Fig 2.4.6-1 indicate the principal particulars and the outline drawing of ZP-10 respectively.

4) Lubricating Oil Refiner “LUBCLIN”
The company contracted with Sumimoto Scientific Institute Co., Ltd. for manufacturing and selling the Sumimoto type lubricating oil refiner which has many experiences with high performance and high reliability, and after adding the partial design change the refiner was produced as one made by Niigata.
This refiner is composed of centrifuge, laminated paper filter, etc., so that the handling is easy with few troubles. And the disposal of sludge and a foreign substance is also easy, since they are discharged as solid matter after removal of liquid phase. Table 2.4.6-4 and Photo 2.4.6-3 indicate the principal particulars and the general view of “LUBCLIN” respectively.
