Point of Medical Interview
a. Developmental situation (after alcohol consumption, with an empty stomach, after ingestion of fat, etc.)
b. Site of abdominal pain
c. Characteristics (intense pain, dull pain, squeezing, gripping)
d. Accompanying symptoms: nausea, vomiting, hematemesis, melena, absence of effluent gas, irregular urination, fever, shock, signs of peritoneal irritation (tenderness, rebound tenderness, muscular defense)
e. Absolute indications for admission
1]Post-traumatic abdominal pain
2]Abdominal pain accompanied by shock
3]Abdominal pain due to an ileus
4]Signs of peritoneal irritation
5]Abdominal pain persisting for more than 24 hours
