■ U.S. Shipbuilders will participate in development of Edition 2 of AP 227

・Participated in recent AP 227 workshop in Gaithersburg, MD on February 1-3, 2000

・Are assisting in creation of an Express ARM for AP 227

・Will help develop Ship Usage Guide for AP 227

・Provide Editor (Dr. B. Gischner) for Edition 2 of AP 227

■ ESTEP will define Ship Conformance Class of AP 227 and will take actions to implement that schema during next phase of project

・Will monitor developments to see if decision needs to be reconsidered
