● AS all AP 226 data requirements and exchange scenarios cannot be represented by Plib, the AP 226 development should be continued according to the agreed time table.
Bazari supports the approach of adding libraries into individual APs or one dictionary could be done for all APs.

AP226はPLIB-Compliant DictionaryでPLIBのclass Libraryの少なさをカバーしAP226 Partsを増やそうとする方針である。これによりAPの開発時数を減らせると考えている。
Objective: Use of AP 226 and PLIB-compliant dictionary in conjunction with AP 226.
The library was made as a normative Annex to AP226 so that AP226 still has a full control on the library contents (this was a request from Brazari)
Benefits:
・reduction in number of AOs in 226;
・Increase in number of classes covered;
・reduce AP development time;
・Potential for reuse by other APs, standards, or PLIB-conforming electronic catalogue (containing actually manufactured parts)
NOTE: Dictionary references a class of a product not the product or the item itself. The dictionary has only a generic definition of a class of items, e.g., pumps. To reference the product or the part it is possible to "populate" the dictionary with a list of actual items forming a catalogue, which is a group of specific examples of instances of class of items (www.tda.ecrc.ctc.com has some slides of Plib project explaining Plib dictionary concepts).
More details of CTC proposal see Ship/LH-9. The proposed ARM is significantly smaller than the actually used in the current AP 226.
