.7 invite the Commitee to delete the following agenda items:
- review of performance standards for devices to indicate speed and distance (resolution A.824(19));
- performance standards for night vision equipment for HSC; and
- performance standards for daylight signalling lamps,
from the work programme of the Sub-Committee, as the work had been completed (paragraph 2.14);
.8 note the Group's opinion that better protection could be sought for the 3 GHz radar band within the ITU if there would be a clearer SOLAS requirement for the carriage of a 3 GHz radar (paragraph 2.17);
.9 agree with the Group's opinion that the IMO position to WRC-2000 should be expanded as indicated in paragraph 2.19 and instruct the Secretariat to take action as appropriate (paragraph 2.19);
.10 invite the committee to extend the target completion date for the agenda item "Guidelines on Ergonomic criteria for bridge equipment and layout" to year 2000 and include this item in the provisional agenda for NAV 46 (paragraph 2.24); and
.11 invite Members to consider NAV 45/6 and submit their comments and proposals to NAV 46 for consideration and decision, as appropriate (paragraph 2.25); and
.12 approve the report in general.
