Resolution 90-1999
Aids to navigation lights
CEN/TC 300 requested that the secretary research the scope of CEN and CENE-LEC/TCs in order to identify a committee with the expertise to adopt the Spanish proposal given with doc.N 184. The outcome of this research will result in the following:
1) If suitable TC identified - pass the work to the appropriate committee.
2) If suitable TC not identified - CEN/TC 300 adopts the Spanish proposal and adds it to its list of work items. The standard should be proposed within ISO/TC8 for development as an ISO standard.
Resolution 91-1999
Study group
CEN/TC 300 noted the invitation to tender No VII/D3/5-99 of DG VII for a study group (doc N 185).
CEN/TC 300 agreed that this work impinges heavily on the work of this committee and wish to monitor the progress of the study group closely. It was agreed that the most effective method of achieving this end is to offer the assistance of CEN/TC 300 to DG VII-D 3 in their role of close cooperation with the study group.

TC 300 observers
CEN/TC 300 noted the list of observers and extended the list. The members are requested to nominate further observers within the next 2 months as appropriate.
