(¹)ITU Recommendation cited are those referred to in the international conventions and the relevant resolution and circulars of the IMO.

(²)Where IMO Resolutions are cited, only the testing standards contained in relevant parts of the Annexes to the Resolutions are applicable and exclude the provisions of the Resolutions themselves.

(³)The modification by the Appendix to MSC Circ./809 is only applicable if the equipment is to be fitted on ro-ro passenger ships.
