Hitachi Zosen Completes State-of-the-Art Fifth Generation Semisubmersible Rig "West Venture"
Hitachi Zosen Corporation in September 1999 completed the state-of-the-art fifth generation semisubmersible rig "West Venture" at its Ariake Works to the order of Smedvig Offshore AS of Norway, and the completed rig immediately embarked on a two month towed voyage to its final destination, Bergen, Norway.
