9.6.3 Security
There were four aspects in regards to the security issue:
1] Authentication
2] Acknowledgement of message
3] Non-repudiation
4] Business confidentiality
The security between VAN to VAN is not required to consider in this trial project as they have their own reliable system. There will be no need to establish our own security. The security level will be set up locally at each end.
It was suggested that depending on business process APERAK message is to be used when using Internet.
9.7 Project Schedule
1] Master Project Schedule
Mr. Yamauchi explained major activities planned in the Master Project Schedule, which was partly revised according to the resolutions.
･ Coordination Committee meeting by video conference ─ Late June/early July 1999
･ EWG meeting in Canberra ─ 20th-24th September 1999
･ Coordination Committee meeting in Sydney ─ 27th-30th September 1999
2] Check Point
The first check point will be the end of June 1999. If the trading partners have not yet been identified by that time, the project schedule will have to be adjusted.
3] Budget Plan
POLISA will have a board of Directors meeting in mid September 1999 in order to have the budget plan ready before 30th September 1999. The final agreement will be made when budgeting is concluded in the three countries.
9.8 Any Other Business
1] Publicity
It was unanimously decided that in future this project would be released under the name “International EC/EDI Trial.”Each country shall be responsible for local publicity and information dissemination.
2] List Server
The meeting unanimously agreed that Tradegate offered to be provider of the List Server for this project, in which all project matters may be discussed. Participants wishing to use the List Server were requested to confirm their name, title and e-mail address to Mr. Andrew J. Robertson (ajrobertson@mail.att.net).
3] Minutes and Resolutions
Before closing the Chair proposed that in view of limited time the minutes of this meeting will be prepared and distributed to the members later by POLISA Secretariat and the resolutions are to be prepared and signed today by POLISA, Tradegate and KL-Net, which was agreed by the participants. The resolutions are attached.
