ROV Underwater Measuring Equipment
Underwater ROV for measurement of electric potential difference of the oil storage barge bottom surface.
This ROV, developed by Hitachi Zosen Corporation, is an easy-to-use mobile underwater measuring equipment of potential difference on bottom surface of an oil storage barge.
The equipment can be remotely operated from the deck of the oil storage barge via tether cable, and can measure the potential difference moving along the bottom of the barge. The underwater measured position can be recognized by 3-D underwater positioning system. Both data of the potential difference and underwater position are processed through the micro computer system and are recorded by memory and displayed on the CRT.
