A 74,522-dwt bulk carrier, WORLD RIBBON, was completed and delivered by Sasebo Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (SSK) to Narvik Company S.A. in March, 1998. WORLD RIBBON is Sasebo's new version of panamax size bulk carrier which was built on the basis of former 72,000-dwt type. New requirements of the IACS for bulk carrier safety were adopted in advance of the category of "existing ship"
