GREAT PESCADORES 70,529-dwt Bulk Carrier
The 70,529-dwt bulk carrier GREAT PESCADORES was delivered to Chi Ling (Panama) S.A. of Panama in July 1998 at Mizushima Works and Shipyard of Sanoyas Hishino Meisho Corporation. The highly economical "70BC" design was developed by Sanoyas.
Features
1. The cargo space is divided into seven cargo holds with topside tanks and hopper bottoms; its bulk carrier structure affords efficient cargo stowage.
2. Cargo carrying capacity is increased by maximizing dead-weight and hold capacity.
3. Hydraulic, motor-driven, side-rolling hatch covers are used, and hatch openings are maximized to facilitate cargo handling.
