5 Conclusion

The development concept of new marine products which contribute to the innovation of physical distribution represented by “Quantity,” “Quality,” “Speed” and “Punctuality” as a catch phrase in this borderless age has been described. The feature of the above-mentioned trend is that in order to support the innovation of physical distribution, not separate resolution for each individual equipment, for example, a deck crane alone but the overall resolution is being sought as a whole ship, and further, as a whole system of physical distribution.

In the field of information business, the phrase “System Integrator” has already become popular. Tsuji Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., which is a manufacturer of general marine machinery and instruments, has been fighting on to gain access to the goal of “Marine-Integrator” that integrates various needs for a variety of powerful weapons for new generation of sea trade.
