(1) Compact Crane Housing Outer Dimension

By downsizing the crane, a 10% reduction in the outer dimension of the housing as compared with that of Tsuji's conventional type crane housing has been accomplished.(See Fig.1)

The appearance of the crane is modern and smart with its figure changed from the conventional polygonal column (of Tsuji's conventional crane) to a circular tube.

The unobstructed view from the wheel house has been improved and a cargo space has been created on the upper deck by making the foundation post slimmer.

(2) Reduction in Weight

By downsizing the crane body and making the apparatus mounted on the body compact and integrated, a 10% reduction in the weight of the crane as compared with that of Tsuji's conventional type has been accomplished. (A 25 % reduction in weight as compared with the SLIM type.)

This reduction will contribute to the advantage of increasing the amount of the cargo of the ship.

(3) Operator's Access to Inside of Deck Crane

The deck crane is designed so that the operator can safely go into the operator's cabin from the inside of the foundation post through the inside passage of the housing.

The ladders and platforms fully conform to the International Safety Standards.
