─ Related engine performance data and ambient condition.

─ Related NOx reduction system data.

2.2 Instrument

─ Periodical calibration is required.

2.3 Data sampling

─ Load (test cycle): most frequently operated engine load. (One point)

─ Data sampling interval: data which is intended to be used for the survey has to be colleated within 30 days prior to that survey. Intermittent data can be used, however the sampling interval between data should not be longer than 100 hours.

─ Sampling time: more than 30 minutes per day.

─ Bunker delivery note and the retained sample of fuel.

2.4  Record of data

─ Data has to be recorded on magnetic tape or pen recorder and firmly shielded until the survey.

2.5 Evaluation

─ Operation data will be compared with the initial data taken at the time of the maiden voyage. If the latest data at the same engine load show agreement with the initial data, the IAPP certificate will be re-issued.

─ +10% allowance is permitted if DM class fuel is used.

─ +15% allowance is permitted if RM class fuel is used.
