These receptions are shown figure 5. The received SNRs (19.3 and 13.4dB) are quite in accordance with the source level and the environnmental and geometrical conditions. The observed temporal resolution, i. e. the peak width (15ms), is also in agreement with the expected one. Table 1 summarises the characteristic of the actual instrument.

5 Conclusions.
The transmissions made during CAMBIOS demonstrate that the actual source used at 400Hz allows to reach the regional scale (600km) scale. Recent simulations showed that the basin scale (> 1000km) can be reach with the same technology under the autonomy and bandwidth constraints. A new 250-Hz source is under construction and will be achieved at the end of the first quarter of 1999.
