PLAN OF FIELD EXPERIMENTS

　

A demonstration experiment for the multi-station system will be planned in the Neko Seto Channel of the Seto Inland Sea, Japan during Feb. 16-18, 1999. A location map of observation site is shown in Fig. 3. This is a full tomography experiment to measure tidally induced vortices. Five tomography stations are located in the periphery of the Neko Seto Channel. Every station is same to be described at later. A bathymetric line of 50m is indicated with a dashed line. The horizontal scale of the tomography site is about 5 km.
