Action to be Taken: Paragraph 3

1 In this document, the Government of Peru submits Its traffic routeing system along the coast of Peru. The system is based on existing hydrographic data and the study carried out by the maritime authorities to control shipping so as to increase navigational safety in the area of convergence and other areas where there is a high traffic density or where freedom of movement is reduced by restricted space, obstacles to navigation, shallows or weather conditions.

2 The revision of the traffic routeing system to Improve navigational safety along the coast of Peru will involve expenditure on enhanced and new navigational aids to mark routes properly.
