今回は、50カ国から12,000点におよぶ応募がありました。その中から選ばれた200点をご覧頂きます。
色彩の輝いている作品、一枚の写真が語るストーリーの素晴らしい作品、エロティックな味さえする作品、思わず微笑んでしまう作品、ただ圧倒される作品、テクニックも視点も創造性も、今回は、本当に素晴らしいものが集まりました。過去3回の中でも第一のものと思います。
ご覧いただいて、受取られたメッセージ、感動がスポーツの原点です。スポーツの楽しさを感じられた時、スポーツ・フォア・オールの輪の中に既にあなたは、いるのです。

There were 12,000 entries from fifty nations for this contest. Of these, 200 were selected as finalists. I would like you to please have a look at these.
There were some truly wonderful photos submitted to this contest, as far as technique, viewpoint and originality were concerned. These included photos of brilliant color; wonderful photos, each of which told their own individual stories; photos of an erotic tlavor; photos which made people laugh, before they even realized it; and photos which were simply overvvhelming. I think that this was the best ot the three contests held thus far.
The messages and impressions you get from seeing these photos represent the starting point of sports. By the time you have felt the enjoyment of sports you are already a part of the ring of Sports for All.
I would like to express my sincerest appreciation to the Nippon Foundation as well as to eveiyone else who worked so hard for this contest.
