It is a pleasure to welcome all those gathered today for the 7th World Gateball Tournament. I extend a special welcome and aloha to those participants who have traveled from the mainland United States and from other countries to take part in this international event.
I commend the participants for their commitment to gateball. Your many hours of preparation for this tournament will now be put to the ultimate challenge.
The most important prize to take home from the tournament is the knowledge that you gave it your all. Whenever you try your best, you are always a winner.
