Let us follow their example, and keep working hard, until no one needs to suffer from this disease any more, and for that effort I would like to pledge continued support from the two organizations I have inherited from my father.
Lastly, I would like to pay a special tribute to those of you who gathered here today from all corners of the world. I have been informed that among the participants there are a number of individuals who have had the disease themselves. I know that most of them had been confronted with numerous difficulties in their lives, but have overcome to establish the life with dignity and a place in the society.
I hope that this Congress will achieve to create a new platform of solidarity and partnership upon which to unite the effort to achieve the goal of "A World without Leprosy" in its true sense of the meaning.
I wish you success of the Congress.
Thank you for your kind listening.
