December 9,1996,Dr.P.K.Gopal with Princess Diana at the 30th Anniversary Of ILEP meeting. Dr. Gopal is the first person affected by leprosy to be elected to the Medico-Social Commission of ILEP-the International Federation of Anti-Leprosy Associations.
