5 action items from 218 workshop:
1. Julian Fowler to check the mapping table accuracy
2. Pete to create weld design definitions
3. Pete and Jochen to add entity edge features, etc.
4. Matthias to do mapping for Ship_materials→further,Julian to check integration
5. Pete to remodel structural part
● 2/3 of the mapping tables are completed.
● People to be in charge of further interpretation of BBs were identified: Matthias, Yuanxie, Pete, Jochen, Frank, Uwe. All may not be able to contribute enough time (like 2-4 weeks) immediately. This may cause some delay.
● Rules from existing AIMs can be used. No idea about how many and what type of rules are required.
See Fig.2 Product Definition
lnitia1 216 interpretation in Sept 96 used IRs' Proposed modifications. They are now stable and could be used in other interpretations. Next versions of Part 41 and 43 will be available within this month. Part 44 is aheady available.
Final mapping report of 218 interpretation will be issued by the end of next week by Julian.
Shipbuilding interpretation mailing list will be set up. All are welcome to join it. The Current interpretation participants are included as members.
A Mapping Agreements document is required to record all mapping templates. This will help future mapping also. lt is to be put in a server with access to interested parties. KCS Server may be available on a short term. May be shifted elsewhere if need arises.
The documents will be available from the ftp server (at KCS?) from next week.
