1. Draft Regulation 20.1.2： Delete the final sentence：
2. Add a new regulation, as follows：
"Regulation [XX]
Adjustment of Magnetic Compasses
1. When a magnetic, electromagnetic or transmitting magnetic compass is used to fulfill any of the functions required by regulation [20], such compass shall be swung and adjusted no less often than annually, and after every docking or significant structural work. Such adjustment shall be carried out by a licensed compass adjuster approved by the Administration.
2. Such adjustment shall include correction for all magnetic latitudes in which the ship may operate, so that the resultant deviation after any change of latitude following the ship's second periodic swing after new construction does not exceed 2 degrees.
3. Means of correcting residual deviations to provide true headings and bearings shall be available at all times."
