The operational controls of NVEE should be clearly identifiable in the dark and their brightness should be adjustable. The operational controls should meet the requirements of resolution A.694(17) as well as applicable requirements of the IEC*

 

6.2 Presentation of information

 

The monitor display should be non-dazzling and non-flickering. The display should be at least 200 mm diameter.

 

7 DESIGN AND INSTALLATION

7.1.1 Durability and resistance to environmental conditions

 

NVEE should withstand the environmental conditions specified in resolution A.694(17) and in the applicable IEC requirements*.

 

7.1.2 Interference

 

With respect to electrical and electromagnetic interference, NVEE should meet the requirements of resolutions A.694(17) and A.813(19) and the applicable IEC requirements*.

 

7.1.3 Power Supply

The power supply of NVEE should meet the requirements of resolution A.694(17) and the applicable IEC requirements*.

 

7.2 Specific requirements

 

7.2.1 Maintenance

 

With respect to maintenance, NVEE should meet the requirements of resolution A.694(17) and the applicable IEC requirements*.

 

8 INTERFACING

 

Interfaces should meet applicable international standards**.An interface for image recording should be provided.

 

9 BACK-UP AND FALL-BACK ARRANGEMENTS

 

In the event of failure of the motor-driven pan-tilt device, the sensor should be capable of being fixed in the zero position.
