Scope: Standardization of: - basic requirements for ships' bridge layout; - basic solution regarding the location of the different categories of instrument/equipment, as well as the arrangement and layout of the bridge; - dimensions of instruments, equipment and consoles to be used on the bridge, based on ergonomic principles taking into account wherever appropriate: - interfaces and protocols for integrated electronic systems upon ships' bridges
and - presentation of data and sensor readings on equipment upon ships' bridges
