9.1 ISO/WD 15016 Assessment of speed and power performance by means of speed trials [09.10]
With regard to this subject item, an SC 9/WG 2 meeting was held in Tokyo on June 23 and 24, 1998, at which the opinions submitted by WG 2 members were considered. As a result, it was agreed that the consideration of the draft next time would produce an ISO/CD. At present, the draft is under amendment work. ISO/CD 15016 is scheduled to be circulated in December this year.
9.2 ISO/NP Standard practice for human engineering design for marine systems [09.14]
We have received from Mr. Hime an NWIP proposal format and a draft to be attached to NWIP. Therefore, an NWIP proposal is scheduled to be circulated to SC 9 members in September.
9.3 Ship fenders [09.23]
With regard to this subject item which was added to SC 9's work items due to the decision at the last TC 8 Hamburg meeting, a ship fender manufacturer, introduced by Mr. Alexander, and the SC 9 secretariat are now considering the NWIP target date, etc. of the subject item.
