Liaisons of category A with CCR, CD, CIPA, IADC, IMO, IMPA, UN/ECE don't maintain in fact. In 1993-1996 the information was received from ISO/CS about the sessions of the Working Party on Standardization of Technical and Safety Requirements in Inland Navigation of Inland Transport Committee of UN/ECE (agenda, reports on sessions). In 1996 there were confirmed liaisons of category B with IACS, but there is no any interchanging of information. Since 1998 the secretariat of IEC/TC1 began to send its drafts of standards and voting results on the to the secretariat of ISO/TC 8/SC 7. In 1997 Chairman and secretary of ISO/TC 8/SC 7 sent the letter to the secretariat CEN/TC 15 concerning establishment of liaisons and cooperation, In June-July 1998 the secretariat of CEN/TC 15 by the letters dated 1998-06-23 and 1998-07-14 (their copies were also sent to the secretariat of ISO/TC 8)have informed the secretariat of ISO/TC 8/SC 7 on the following subjects: a) names and designations of EN standards developed by CEN/TC 15; b) programme of work of CEN/TC 15 and state of development of pr EN's (to date 1998-06-23) from this programme; c) expedience of information exchange between CEN/TC 15 and ISO/TC 8/SC 7; d) Working Group on adoption of EN standards as ISO standards. At the next meeting of CEN/TC 15 in October 1998 the establishment of liaison between CEN/TC 15 and ISO/TC 8/8C 7 will be discussed.

 

3.4 Changing since the last plenary meeting of ISO/TC 8 (1997):

Italy and Netherlands changed O-membership to P-membership. Bulgaria and Poland changed P-membership to O-membership.
