7. SCHEDULE OF FUTURE MEETINGS
WG 3 intersessional meeting and SC 2 plenary 1999-06 (place to be determined). Greece (TC 8 O-member) attended the Lisboa meetings of WG 3 and SC 2 and indicated that they may be interested in hosting the 1999 meetings. The secretariat is following up on this possibility.

9. ANY OTHER MATTERS OF IMPORTANCE TO ISO/TC 8
In keeping with the objective of developing standards that support the implementation of IMO requirements, CD 16165 was submitted by ISO Central Secretariat to the IMO Marine Environmental Protection Committee (MEPC) for consideration and comment. This will be done in conjunction with agenda item 42/7 (Implementation of the OPRC Convention) at the 1998-11-2/6 meeting of the MEPC.
