7. ISO/TC 8 Status Report

-An updated version of the Status Report will be issued after this meeting, reflecting the latest information from the SC's
8. Business plan for ISO/TC8

-With resolution 90/1998 the Technical Management Board of ISO has decided that Business Plans will be introduced as a management tool in ISO.
Basic content elements and the structure will be in line with CEN. Further it is decided that a business plan software tool (also based on a relevant CEN software tool) will be developed to support the preperation of these plans.
All TC's are instructed to submit their plans by 31 December 1999 at the latest.
8.1 Statistics on Productivity ISO/TC8/SC's and Target Dates
-no document is available, but the SC's are once more reminded that it is essential to set realistic target dates for all work items, and to communicate these to ISO/CS and ISO/TC 8
