It is mainly intended to introduce marine engineering activities in Japan to the Overseas Readers whose principal interests are in the advancement to science, technology and practice in marine engineering field.

 

The BULLETIN contains selected papers and topics from among many articles recorded in the latest monthly JOURNALS published by the SOCIETY originally in Japanese Language.

Copyright, including translation, is reserved by the SOCIETY. Reproduction of whole article for commercial use or in multiple copies requires specific permission from the SOCIETY. Abstracting is permitted with proper citation of the source. Quoting from the articles and reproducing figures as well as tables requires consent of the author.

THE MARINE ENGINEERING SOCIETY IN JAPAN was established in April 1966. Its principal interest is in the development of the science, technology and practice in the field of the marine machinery plant. It includes about 2600 members, home and abroad, consisting of experts and engineers belonging to research organizations, shipyards and shipowners companies, engine and machinery manufacturing firms, as well as university professors, students, marine engineers of officers, etc. Each member receives monthly JOURNAL OF THE MARINE ENGINEERING SOCIETY IN JAPAN (Japanese Edition) upon payment of the annual membership fee.
