In case that the degree of saturation of the sample after drainage Sr^DR is less than 70%, it is judged that the material is not liable to liquefy.

　

3.4　Range of application of test result

　

In case that a material was judged as not liable to liquefy by the LPT, the test result for this material is applicable to materials satisfying all the following conditions：

　

(i)　the material was produced in the same factory, through the same procedure and from the same raw materials including surface active agents：

　

(ii)　the density of the solid material is within the range of 98.5% to 101.5% of the density of the solid material of the cargo having been tested; and

　

(iii)　D₁₀ of the material is not smaller than that of the material having been tested.
