(2)　"I ought to make up my mind about a divorce."

"ought to … "　は｢…すべきだ」と訳しますが、　"should"　よりも意味の強い言い方です。　"make up one's mind about … "　で｢…について決心する、態度を決める｣と言う意味です。

このまま会社勤めを続けるか、カナダに留学するかで悩んでいます。会話の中で、人生にはいくつか重要な決断をしなければならない時があるという相手に何と言ったらいいでしょうか?

相手…　"There' re times in life when you have to make important decisions."

私…　"I ought to make up my mind about going to Canada."
