Money Problems
I'm not on crutches anymore.
(There is a knock on Mike's door. He limps to open it and finds his landlord standing there.)
Landlord: Mr.Andreyev, as of last reek, you're three months behind in your rent. Three months!
Mike: I'm sorry. I've been out of work. Now that I'm not on crutches anymore, things should get better. I found a job yesterday …
L.: When will you get your first paycheck?
M.: Unfortunately, I was fired today. For not moving fast enough. I'm still limping.
L.: I'm not interested in hearing any more excuses.
