Re; QUESTIONNAIRE regarding port constructions/reconstructions & workvessels
The Japan Workvessel Association (JWA) organized a technical committee of the workvessel consisting of workvessel builders, workvessel operators (marine constructors) and manufactures of equipment for workvessels was established in 1958 and has been in full activity to improve performance of workvessels and to develop the new equipment.
During the last couple decade, each Japanese shipyard has delivered a lot of workvessels to foreign countries and each marine constructor has performed many construction work in the world. They have developed many advanced technology and keep engineering know-how on workvessel and marine construction work based on the abundant experiences.
Recently we have planned the researching the demand of workvessel in South-East Asia and will dispatch our expert team for the researching to each adequate region. We believe that the above advanced technology will be judged being effective to meet the demand and we should do the best assisting to realize it.
JWA are preparing the "WORKVESSELS IN JAPAN 1997" English edition now compiling the almost of all existing workvessels and these advanced technology in Japan. The "WORKVESSELS IN JAPAN 1997" shall be an effective tool to explain the technology.
