processivity in RB2256 may be reduced in comparison to fast growing heterotrophs. These data indicate that translation and growth rate responses in oligotrophic ultramicrobacteria, such as RB2256, are different to that of typical eutrophic bacteria such as E. coli and Vibrio Sp.
