観光志向に続き、グルメ、保養、買物
希望する旅行目的をみると、「自然や風景を見て回りたい」、「有名な史跡や建築物を見て回りたい」が1位、2位となり、観光志向が根強い。これに、「自分の好物やその土地の珍しい料理を味わいたい」、「のんびり保養、休養したい」、「ショッピングを楽しみたい」が続いている。過去5年間でも上位5項目は変化がなく、旅行日的は定番化している。
Preferred purpose of travel
What people wish to accomplish while they are traveling abroad has remained the same for sometime now：sightseeing heads the list, followed by food, relaxation and shopping.
The top two preferred purposes of travel were to enjoy nature and scenery (first) and to visit historical sites and
architecture (second), underscoring the fact that sightseeing remains a popular objective for trips taken
overseas. These were followed by preferences for local cuisine or favorite foods, rest and relaxation, and
shopping. The top five objectives cited here have remained the same for the last five years.
